This is a stupid dream – why don’t you do something better? There are so many other problems in the world why don’t you focus your energy on something else? You know, save the polar bears, teach a kid to read or cut carbon emissions?

There is a difference between want and need. This is definitely a want. Will it make the world a better place? I don’t know. It would the adventure of a lifetime. This is a dream, a goal but it is my dream, my goal. It is worth the work, putting up with a lot of negative people to get a shot at space. If it doesn’t work, I gave it my best. When was the last time you could say the same?

Can I follow you on twitter? Can we be friends on facebook?

No and no. The only way I am updating right now is an RSS feed. My blog will be better than any tweet I could write. Although I am one of the last of the mohicahs on this one, several of my friends and I made an oath to not join facebook. I can’t be the first one to cave. I know I eventually will but I won’t be the first!

If this gets wildly popular and offers start coming in faster and people want a Twitter feed or there is clamor for Facebook then this can change. Right now it is RSS.
